Children, Youth, Students, and Young Adults
Here at the Church of the Covenant we believe that the Christian journey is lifelong and that in all we do in this world reflects God’s love for us. Through God’s love for us we can connect to the world and the world’s needs. What begins as a simple seed of faith rooted in God’s love grows best in an environment where children and youth can question freely, explore imaginatively, discover profoundly and experience personally a living faith grounded in God’s compassion for all of Creation.
At the Church of the Covenant, we celebrate diversity and understand that we are all integrally connected and a part of God’s wonderful creation.
Child care is provided for infants, toddlers, and pre-K children in our Crèche. The Crèche is located on the second floor of the Education Wing, and staffed from 9:30 to 12:30 on Sunday mornings. Infants and toddlers can be dropped off prior to the service. Children pre-K through 5th grade are welcome to start in worship with their parents and leave after A Time for Young Disciples to go to the Crèche for their lessons, crafts and other activities. Older students from 6th through twelfth grades will join in worship every Sunday and youth events after worship.
“Do not let anyone look down on You because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
