Covenant University and Community Ministries (CUCM) is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by the Church of the covenant to provide a home for programs tht reach out and engage both the university and the Greater Cleveland community. Four programs currently are under the CUCM umbrella: Community Meals, God Before Guns, Saturday Tutoring Program, and Student Community Ministries.
The Community Meals Program is an interfaith program of 14 congregations partnering to serve nutritious meals to our neighbors in need, from five sites in and around Cleveland. Meal guests include seniors, young children and families. Guests arrive by bus, bicycle, wheelchair, car or on foot and include those working and unemployed. Most guests are not homeless, but are dealing with economic challenges.

God Before Guns is a multi-faith coalition of individuals and faith communities working to reduce gun injuries and deaths through community engagement, education, and advocacy. It convenes and collaborates with diverse faith communities and other community partners. God Before Guns "envisions a nation in which our faith in God and each other elevates the sanctity of life above the fears that lead to a society armed against itself."

Student Ministries, and its campus organization, SCC: Student Community at Covenant, provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for the college students that surround the Church of the Covenant. We encourage students' spiritual, emotional and intellectual growth through volunteer opportunities and open discussion on faith and life challenges, along with our shared meals and social events which help students meet each other.
Student Ministries is coordinated by Mr. Kevin J. Lowry, Chaplain to Students.
